Ukrainian propaganda following West: lie about Russian air mission in Syria

Oct. 5 Ukrainian propagandist and so called journalist Roman Bochkala published a post on his Facebook page which was gladly caught and spread by the Ukrainian media.

«Half an hour ago. Damascus suburbs. Deraa. Drone of aircraft. „Oh, that’s all… It’s beginning“, — says the local. Fighter jet leveled in position, then boom! and the explosion. It was apparently guided missile. I can not say for sure but looks like the jet was Russian. Because Syrian panes are dark and Russian ones are light. That one was light. By the way. There are no ISIS terrorists in Deraa. There are only quite moderate anti-governmental insurgents. There are also civilians. There was no evacuaion from Deraa. Even some state insitutions are working. People go to work in the morning, children go to school. In the afternoon bombs are dropped on their heads by the „liberators“. Sorry for the quality, photos made by phone» — wrote Bochkala.

He enclosed two photogaphs as an evidence which were immideately spread by such omnivorous Ukrainian media like «Obozrevatel» and the others. They accompanied photos with titles like «Rusian war planes shelled civilians again».

It’s clear that the Ukrainain media do not verify information malignating Russia in any possible way. Still Bochkala’s post is aimed at those who were born yesterday.

What made Bochkala think it was «guided missile» remains unclear. Strictly speaking it is quite difficult to understand circumstance judging by that photo — all we see is a pair of houses and a pillar of smoke between at some distance. The second photo, zoomed one, shows dustcloud behind the buildings but the reasong of explosion remains unclear.

Just like the American intelligence and media being in trouble with identifying the difference between «moderate» and «radical» insurgents Bochkala does not dwell on political affiliation of Deraa fighetrs. Where the whole situation is «not so clear» judging by the Arab sources.

But it is unimportant indeed because in the next few phrases Bochkala says there are no insurgents at all but the civilians. And there wasn’t any evacuation. And the blissful life. So the Russian barbarians shell the town with no apparent reasons.

That conclusion was made by the Ukrainian journalist on the ground of aircraft livery. The aircrafts which shell blissful town where the supposedly moderate insurgents sit but in fact the kids go to school.

Russian essence of the war planes is obvious for Bochkala because of their «light» livery.

It’s hard to say how much «lighter» should be the plane to be detected as «Russian». Therefore if propaganda flavour is removed Bochkala’s narrative is no more than an unclear story of some explosion in Deraa torn by civil war where both parties of conflict are present.

Reason of explosion according to Bochkala was an airstike which could by Syrian, Russian and even Israeli. It could be not an airstrike but missile. It could just as likely be not a missile but cannon artillery.

All of that did not stop Ukrainian journalist from telling that «Russians are shelling children!» which is absolutely in the wake of today’s Kiev and Westen informational policy.
