Islamists to break in the big Syrian cities, Russia to intensify airstrikes on ISIS — new war report from Donbass militia fighter «Timur» | Русская весна

Tense atmosphere is kept allover the frontline.

Islamists belonging to different terroristic groups are now openly concentrating their forces to launch an ofensive against Latakia and Hama governorates. Situation in Idliba and Aleppo regions remains quite tense, the same may be said of northeastern suburbs of Damascus, Deir ez-Zor airport, Daraa governorate and area to the north of Homs.

Islamist forces concentration clearly shows their intention to preempt Syrian Army operations and take up the defense in strategic areas. Break-in and penetration in big cities is of great importance for the islamists now. It will allow them to hide behind the non-combatants and civilian infrastructure. The terrorists are traditionally aimed at lodgment the positions which could possibly allow them to block or trouble governmental forces' movement and communications on key roads.

Over October 3rd not less than 7 targets were hit (according to the specified data given by Russian Defense Ministry — eight), among them are ammunition depot and dislocation site near Jisr ash-Sughur, command center and islamists' position near Maarat al-Nu’man.

Russian antiterroristic airborne mission will clearly be continued and may emerge more intensive.
