Saudi Arabia Decided to Stop Supporting Syrian Opposition

The mass surrender of so called Syrian opposition fighters which was already mentioned by «Russian Spring» has quite a strong reason.

Every occasion like first of all a revolution or a rebellion is known as being based on some financial ground.

A very interesting paper appeared in the Internet yesterday. It looks like a copy of a directive to the Embassies of Saudi Arabia located in the countries of the Middle East. It is stated in the paper that all diplomatic representation offices must gradually terminate financial support provided for the armed Syrian opposition due to low effectiveness of its actions.

Authenticity of the paper as always is quite doubtful but an expert on Arabic language considered the text as being written by a native Arab and its appearance does very much correspond to the official procedures of Saudi Arabia.

Nobody ever confesses that such directives have ever existed that is why let’s start using the facts. Syrian opposition now is full of chaos and disorder and that is proved by the surrender of 500 rebels to official Syrian authorities on the 20th of September as well as by recent scandal caused by the move of «moderate Syrian opposition» detachment trained by the US instructors to the side of «Al-Nusra Front».

It looks quite reasonable that both termination of Saudi financial support with a background of certain success of the troops of true Syrian government and an increase of Russian military hardware support rendered to Syrian Army has promoted «the opposition forces» to surrender or change the masters. The process seems only to be intensified.
