Two killed, two wounded in Ukraine’s shelling of DPR territory

Two persons were killed and two more were wounded in shelling of the territory of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) by the Ukrainian troops in the past 24 hours, spokesman for the DPR defence ministry Eduard Basurin said on Sunday.

"Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian troops shelled settlements in the DPR 36 times. Two DPR servicemen were killed and two wounded," he said. He said the DPR territory had been shelled from mortars 17 times, two times - from infantry fighting vehicles, one time - from tanks, four times - from multiple launch rocket systems and 12 times - from grenade launchers and firearms.

Among settlement that came under shelling were Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk, the Donetsk airport and a number of other populated localities.
