CHERNOBYL FIRE COVERAGE: Fire is stopped 5 km away from nuclear waste repository

Fire around Chernobyl nuclear plant was supposedly stopped 5 km away from nuclear waste repository. This was reported by Ukrainian Internal Minister Arsen Avakov on his Facebook page.

"Why's there such a panic? That is the first fire like this since 1992 — there are about 20 km to the station itself and about 5 km to the repositories. That's why we worked there in the first place" — wrote Avakov
